CMS releases the Medicare Part B Drug Average Sales Price January, April, July, and October data files.
The National Drug Code (NDC) to Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) data is offered here in SAS, Stata, and CSV formats to make the data a bit easier to use.
Some sheets in some months and years had no observerations because none of those changes occurred.
Combined Months and Years Data
Data from January 2005 through the current quarters's data file are combined in these datasets. The NDC-HCPCS Crosswalk combines the Average Sale Price (ASP) files and the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) files. The crosswalk has one record per NDC HCPCS combination. The nges, Coding Changes, Records & NDCs Added, Records & NDCs Removed and Additional Changes files are aggregations of the multiple monthly files.
